TierVision's minimum server configurations are Dual Intel Pentium IV machines with a RAID SCSI drive system. Unlike many of our competitors who employ inexpensive IDE drives, our Ultrawide SCSI hard drives ensure superior server performance and reliability. - Does TierVision offer a shopping cart?
TierVision offers Miva Merchant 4. Miva Merchant 4 is a browser-based storefront and catalog development tool that integrates cataloging, product maintenance, category management, shopping basket, order and credit card processing. The software is organized as a series of modules that can be field-upgraded to provide new functionality without any changes to the core system. Developers can use the browser interface to build and manage their stores, or can "get under the hood" with complete access to the underlying source code written in XML based Miva Script.
- Can I securely accept credit card
information through my web site?
You have free access to our shared SSL (secure socket layer) with all of our plans above Tier 1. This allows users of your site to submit credit card information with confidence, knowing that it is being transmitted safely and securely through the Internet.

You need three things to process the credit card payments in real
time:
1) A merchant account
2) A real-time credit card processing account
3) A shopping cart that supports your choice of a real-time credit
card processing solution.
You can obtain a merchant account and AuthorizeNet real-time credit
card processing account by filling
out the form for the Miva Merchant shopping cart system, which
is included free of charge with our Ecommerce
Plan.
This plan supports all major real-time credit card processing solutions
including AuthorizeNet, CyberCash, Mol-Pay, etc.
- Does TierVision provide any database
solutions?
TierVision supports MS SQL. MS SQL support is provided with our "Tier 2"
plan and our "Tier 3" plan. MS Access can be used with any plan.
- What statistical package does TierVision
offer?
All TierVision plans include LiveStats. Also, you have access to raw
log files.

FrontPage?
TierVision will install the necessary extensions for you to use FrontPage and is happy to answer your questions related to the use of these extensions. FrontPage extensions are needed to enable you to publish your site with FrontPage, and to run the tools supported by FrontPage: WebBots, ToDo Lists and the FrontPage/Explorer interface.
TierVision does not support problems and questions directly related to the use of FrontPage itself. Instead, we will direct you to Microsoft's FrontPage Technical Support.
